    The beds were unbelievably comfy 🌟 The suite was spacious with decent decor, and checkout was easy. But some noise from the bar downstairs made it a tad hard to sleep at times.

    Hotel Montreal provided an really good experience with its friendly staff who were attentive and went beyond to help. The room was spacious, immaculate and included a good kitchenette and a comfy sitting area.

    I wanted to enjoy my stay, but alas, no hairdryers in the bathroom, had to dry my hair in the lounge room, how quaint. Plus, the family suite had a peculiar layout, I expected at least a luxurious bath, but here we are. I almost thought about giving a good review, but just couldn't.

    The reasons I'm conflicted

    The friendly and helpful staff. The spacious junior suite was good, especially with the well-appointed kitchen and cozy living area. Food at the onsite restaurant was superb!

    We encountered some issues with noise levels from the bar, which occasionally disrupted our sleep. A few minor amenities could benefit from a refresh for a better experience.

    Recommend it for couples seeking comfort

    The staff were very nice, like Carol at reception, always smiling. Even when I felt unwell, the night manager Fabricio were really nice too ensure we were comfortable during our extended stay! It was heartwarming. That daily coffee from the lovely barista was just what I needed!

    It wasn't exactly cheap, but for what we got, it was still worth it.

    The junior suite was spacious and had a lovely kitchenette. The living area was perfect, and the decor gave a cozy vibe. Breakfast was really good, one of the best i've had, and the staff were super friendly and helpful!

    The heated bathroom floor was an unexpected delight, and the restaurant on-site offered some amazing food that we didn't want to miss. There were times we noticed some noise from the bar downstairs, a bit hard to get to sleep at times.

    Great location! We were able to walk to nearby restaurants and the city center. Our room, a 1-bedroom corner suite, was beautiful and spacious. The beds and linens were comfortable, ensuring a good night's sleep. The breakfast at the hotel was delicious and the workout room was a nice bonus. The hotel's restaurant, part of The George Hotel, had amazing food. we had a fantastic stay and would definitely recommend this hotel for your visit to Christchurch.
